SHEILA C. PUCKETT

July 11, 1952 – February 17, 2026

Sheila Carlyle Puckett, 73, of  Zebulon, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.  Sheila was born in Nash County, the daughter of the late Thurman and Christine Barham Carlyle.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Phil Puckett who died on February 15, 2026.

She loved life, her family, friends, her dogs, but most of all she loved God.  She never met a stranger and always had a smile with her upbeat personality. She loved looking her best with her sparkling jewelry and clothes whether at church, shopping or at the beach. 

Sheila is survived by her son, Yancey Carroll, stepsons, Alex Carroll and Michelle Spence, Anthony Puckett and wife Deborah and Christopher Puckett, step granddaughter, Samantha Puckett.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Thursday, February 26th at East Wake Church of  God with Pastor Tim Hopkins officiating. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 1:45 pm prior to the service at the church.

The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to East Wake Church of God, PO Box 1628, Wendell, NC 27591.
