CLOIA E. PAYNE

October 5, 1933 – February 17, 2026

Cloia Elizabeth Rife Payne, 92, of Louisburg, passed away Tuesday morning at her home.

Cloia was the daughter of the late Fred and Watie Rife. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James A. Tackett and Roger Payne; daughter, Brenda Tackett and son Rodney Tackett; sisters, Marie Griffith, May Jackson, Geneva Blankenship and Faye Hess; brothers, Hufford Rife, Junior Rife, Leonard Rife, Ervin Rife and Johnny Rife.

Cloia is survived by her daughter, Vicki Brady; sons, Dennis Tackett, Paul Tackett and Phil Tackett; sister, Lorine Deel; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3 pm Saturday, February 21st at Youngsville Full Gospel Fellowship. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Entombment will be at 2 pm  on Monday, February 23rd at Stonewall Memorial Gardens in Manassas, Virginia.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Youngsville Full Gospel Fellowship, 219 E. Main St. Youngsville, NC 27596.
